New Delhi, 28 November (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 200 to Rs 14600 per quintal due to the higher offtake even after the recent downfall. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 7000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices improved by Rs 212 or 1.47 percent to Rs 14660 per quintal due to the strong speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain stable at the same level during the coming days.
