New Delhi, 05 December (NNS): The prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 22300 per quintal due to the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the recent downtrend. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 9000/10000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices remained stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices dropped down by Rs 40 or 0.19 percent to Rs 21540 per quintal because of weak speculative buying. The market sentiments may change due to the uptrend in the prices. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
