New Delhi, 11 December (NNS): There were around 8-10 thousand bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha. Later on, it’s wholesale prices slipped by Rs 20/25 per kg due to the weak buying. The prices of cumin went up by Rs 300 to Rs 22200 per quintal on seeing the higher arrivals and feeble supply. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices improved by Rs 350 or 1.68 percent to Rs 21995 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. It is expected that the market may show nominal increment in the prices during the coming days.
