New Delhi, 24 December (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric reduced by Rs 200 to Rs 15300 per kilogram owing to the weak buying from the stockists even after the increment in the prices during the previous days. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There were around 3000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices remained stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices went down by Rs 324 or 1.93 percent to Rs 16480 per quintal due to the constant speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will not likely to increase during the coming one or two days.
