New Delhi, 06 March (NNS): There were around 14000/15000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha after holi. The arrivals reported to be high, whereas, its prices fell down by Rs 25 per 20 kg because of the sluggish buying. Here, the prices of cumin held firm at Rs 23400 per quintal because of the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices.  Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices fell down by Rs 115 or 0.52 percent to Rs 21860 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect due to the increment in the arrivals of the new crop. There is no possibility of more increment in the prices during the coming days.
