New Delhi, 09 March (NNS): There were around 28000/30000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha. The arrivals reported to be high, after this, there, the prices of this famous commodity remained stable at the same level due to the limited support of buying. Here, the prices of cumin reduced by Rs 300 to Rs 23300 per quintal because of the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices improved by Rs 70 or 0.32 percent to Rs 21725 per quintal because of the limited speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect due to the limited demand from China. There is no possibility of long increment in the prices during the coming week.
