New Delhi, 18 March (NNS): The arrivals of cumin went down to 30000 bags due to the weak selling from the farmers. During the previous day, almost 35000 bags of cumin were arrived. In Unjha, the prices of cumin rose by Rs 70/75 per 20 kg due to the higher buying and feeble arrivals than the normal level. Here, the prices of cumin went up by Rs 200 to Rs 23500 per quintal because of the higher buying. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices jumped by Rs 750 or 3.47 percent to Rs 22350 per quintal due to the all-round speculative buying. There is no possibility of downfall in the prices during the near future.
