New Delhi, 24 March (NNS): The one week holiday of march closing has been started, due to this, in Unjha, the arrivals went down to 40000/45000 bags. During the previous day, there, 50000/55000 bags of cumin were arrived. Although, its prices reduced by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg due to the weak arrivals as compared to the arrivals. Here, the prices of cumin reduced by Rs 100 to Rs 23100 per quintal owing to the weak buying. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. Before this, the active contract prices rose by Rs 200 or 0.92 percent to Rs 21980 per quintal because of the higher speculative buying. The trading activities will likely to be normal from 02nd April, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
