New Delhi, 27 March (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 23300 per 20 kg due to the sluggish buying even after the uptrend during the previous days. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There was one week vacations in Unjha due to the march closing. Before this, there were around 40000/45000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices reduced by Rs 20/25 per kg. The active contract prices declined by Rs 225 or 1.02 percent to Rs 21870 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain soft during the coming days.
