New Delhi, 08 April (NNS): There are the news of ceasefire between Iran and America, due to this reason, the stockists are taking interest towards the purchasing of turmeric, as a result, here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis jumped by Rs 400 to Rs 16000 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 3000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices went up by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices jumped by Rs 440 or 2.71 percent to Rs 16660 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
