New Delhi, 27 February (NNS): The offtake of small cardamom reported to be weak even after the sluggish prices, due to this reason, here, the arrivals of small cardamom 7.5mm remained stable at Rs 3100 per kg. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per kg. Today, the arrivals of small cardamom jumped to Rs 50023 kg in the Idukki District Traditional Cardamom Producer Company Limited. Its average auction price reduced to Rs 2780.61 per kg because of the weak buying and higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2941.53 per kg in the last auction which held on 17 January. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
