New Delhi, 01 May (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin held firm at Rs 24200 per quintal due to the weak offtake even after the sluggish prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 8000/10000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 20/30 per 50 kg. The active contract prices gained by Rs 205 or 0.94 percent to Rs 22130 per quintal owing to the increased speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect because of the weak arrivals than the normal level. There is a possibility of fluctuations in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
