New Delhi, 30 May (NNS): The prices of cumin softened by Rs 100 to Rs 23300 per quintal because of the weak offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 10000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contact prices improved by Rs 15 or 0.07 to Rs 20695 per quintal because of the limited speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
