New Delhi, 16 June (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis slipped by Rs 300 to Rs 14600 per quintal owing to the weak buying from the stockists at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. In Erode, there were around 1800 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices remained stable at the same level during the near future. The active contract prices eased by Rs 76 or 0.53 percent to Rs 14310 per quintal due to the weak buying from the speculators. There is a possibility of long uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming one or two days.
