New Delhi, 24 June (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 21900 per quintal owing to the increased offtake at the sluggish prices. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 8000/9000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 40/50 per 20 kg. The active contract prices rose by Rs 65 or 0.34 percent to Rs 19205 per quintal because of the limited speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
