New Delhi, 25 June (NNS): The prices of cumin gained by Rs 300 to Rs 22200 per quintal because of the improved offtake even after the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 8000/9000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices gained by Rs 25/60 per 20 kg in Unjha. The active contract prices went up by s 405 or 2.10 percent to Rs 19650 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The prices may show uptrend during the coming one or two days.
