New Delhi, 27 June (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis rose by Rs 300 to Rs 14200 per quintal owing to the improved offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 7000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held firm at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices gained by Rs 80 to Rs 14080 per quintal due to the limited speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the previous day.
