New Delhi, 30 July (NNS): The sale of turmeric to be nominal even after the feeble prices, due to this reason, turmeric erode gatha asitis improved by Rs 100 to Rs 13200 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 3500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the price is held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices softened by Rs 6 or 0.05 percent to Rs 12966 per quintal because of the sluggish speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
