New Delhi, 21 August (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin remained firm at Rs 20800 per quintal owing to the weak offtake at the higher prices. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 6000/7000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices softened by Rs 35 or 0.18 percent to Rs 19380 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The spot will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
