New Delhi, 01 September (NNS): The prices of cumin declined by Rs 500 to Rs 20700 per quintal because of the weak buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 8000/9000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices improved by Rs 130 or 0.68 percent to Rs 19380 per quintal because of the higher speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect owing to the higher enquiry from china. There is a possibility of break on downfall in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
