New Delhi, 11 September (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom went up to 78734 kg in the Idukki District Traditional Cardamom Producer Company Limited. Its average auction price rose to Rs 2575.26 per kg because of the strong buying even after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2485.27 per kg in the last auction which held on 30th August. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5 mm remained firm at Rs 2600 per kg because of the sluggish buying from the stockists at the higher prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 10 per kg. There is no far of downfall in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
