New Delhi, 11 September (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin declined by Rs 100 to Rs 20600 per quintal owing to the weak offtake even after the higher prices. Recently, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There were around 8000/9000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices reduced by Rs 20 per 20 kg. The active contract prices slipped by Rs 265 or 1.38 percent to Rs 18955 per quintal due to the nominal speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will not likely to increase during the coming days.
