New Delhi, 03 November (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis rose by Rs 400 to Rs 14600 per quintal owing to the strong buying from the stockists at the higher prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 1700 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices went down by Rs 132 or 0.86 percent to Rs 14765 per quintal because of the weak speculative selling. There is possibility of break on uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
