New Delhi, 28 November (NNS): There were around 9000/10000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha. The arrivals of cumin reported to be weak and its prices held stable at the same level of the previous day due to the sluggish buying even after the downfall. The prices of cumin gained by Rs 200 to Rs 22500 per quintal owing to the increased buying even after the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices descended by Rs 195 or 0.88 percent to Rs 21925 per quintal because of weak speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect due to the uptrend in new crop. There is possibility of temporary break on uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
