New Delhi, 03 December (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 14800 per quintal due to the weak buying from the stockists even after the uptrend in the prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100/200 per quintal. There were around 7000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices fell down by Rs 56 or 0.38 percent to Rs 14530 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will not likely to improve during the coming days.
