New Delhi, 11 December (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 14800 per quintal due to the improved buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. In Erode, there were around 2500 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices went up by Rs 604 or 4.19 percent to Rs 15010 per quintal owing to the constant buying from the speculators. The market of turmeric may show uptrend during the coming one or two days.
