New Delhi, 10 March (NNS): There were around 28000/30000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha. The prices of cumin went up by Rs 20/75 per 20 kg owing to the higher support of buying from the stockists, due to this reason, here, the prices of cumin held firm at Rs 23300 per quintal because of the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices rose by Rs 330 or 1.51 percent to Rs 22165 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect owing to the limited activeness from the exporters. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
