New Delhi, 25 March (NNS): There was holiday in Unjha due to the march closing. During the previous day, there were around 40000/45000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices reduced by Rs 20/25 per kg. Here, the prices of cumin gained by Rs 200 to Rs 23300 per 20 kg due to the higher buying from the stockists.  Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. The active contract prices gained by Rs 215 or 0.98 percent to Rs 22160 per quintal due to the higher speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
