New Delhi, 21 April (NNS): There were around 25000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha because of the limited selling from the farmers. Its prices declined by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg due to the weak buying even after the weak arrivals. The prices of this famous commodity softened by Rs 100 to Rs 24100 per quintal due to the weak buying. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices dropped down by Rs 95 or 0.44 percent to Rs 21640 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may not show more uptrend during the near future.
