New Delhi, 27 April (NNS): The arrivals of cumin dropped down by 20000/22000 bags in Unjha. After this, the prices declined by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. Here also, cumin prices declined by Rs 500 to Rs 23700 per quintal due to the weak buying from the stockists at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200/300 per quintal. The active contract prices slipped by Rs 660 or 3.16 percent to Rs 20200 per quintal due to the all-round speculative buying. The market does not get enough support as the import are active now. The spot cumin prices may show constant downfall during the coming days.
