New Delhi, 05 May (NNS): The arrivals of cumin dropped down to 17000/18000 bags in Unjha. There, the prices went down by Rs 50/120 per 20 kg due to the weak buying even after the feeble arrivals than the normal level. The prices of this famous commodity remained stable at Rs 23100 per quintal due to the weak buying even after the downfall in the prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices went up by Rs 110 or 0.55 percent to Rs 20135 per quintal because of the higher speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
