New Delhi, 07 May (NNS): The arrivals of cumin reported to be around 16000/17000 bags in Unjha. There, the prices rose by Rs 25/80 per 20 kg due to the weak arrivals than the normal level and increment in buying. The prices of this famous commodity went down by Rs 100 to Rs 23100 per quintal due to the weak buying even after the increment in buying even after the uptrend in the prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices slipped by Rs 35 or 0.66 percent to Rs 20205 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. There is a possibility of temporary increment in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
