New Delhi, 14 May (NNS): The offtake of black pepper reported to be sluggish even after the uptrend in the price during the previous days, due to this, the prices of black pepper markara held stable at Rs 775 per kg. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 10 per kg. The arrivals reported to be negligible and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect owing to the tensions in Iran. There is no possibility of downfall in the spot black pepper prices during the coming days.
