New Delhi, 25 May (NNS): The prices of black pepper markara remained firm at Rs 780 per kg amid sluggish buying from the stockists at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 5 per kg. Both the arrivals and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day in Kochi. The imported stock of black pepper will likely to arrive from Sri Lanka after 1.5/2 months, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot black pepper prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
