New Delhi, 26 May (NNS): The sale of cumin reported to be sluggish after the arrivals will likely to be in the limited area in Unjha. As a result, here, the prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 22500 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 12000/13000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices rose by Rs 20/30 per 20 kg. The active contract prices fell down by Rs 335 or 1.70 percent to Rs 19340 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will not likely to increase during the near future.
