New Delhi, 12 June (NNS): The arrivals of cumin reported to be around 11000/12000 bags in Unjha. The arrivals reported to be weak and there, the prices rose to Rs 40 per kg. Here, the prices of cumin remained firm at Rs 21500 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract prices went up by Rs 145 or 0.76 percent to Rs 19200 per quintal due to the increased speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect owing to the unofficial reports of war between Iran and America. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
