The production of turmeric reported to be weak in all the producing states from the last some time, due to this, it affects the supply. This is the peak season of turmeric, despite this, the arrival of premium quality stock reported to be weaker than the normal level in the famous producing markets like Maharashtra and Telangana. The prices expected to increase in future, in these expectations, both the farmers and the traders are holding their stock in the markets rather than selling out.
