New Delhi, 16 June (NNS): The arrivals of cumin reported to be around 12000/13000 bags in Unjha. The prices rose by Rs 60 per 20 kg owing to the increased buying along with the higher arrivals. Here, the prices of cumin rose by Rs 300 to Rs 22000 per quintal due to the increased buying even after the downfall in the prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contact prices jumped by Rs 480 or 2.43 to Rs 20220 per quintal due to the strong speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the near future.
