New Delhi, 15July (NNS): there is a shortage of fenugreek stock, despite this, the demand reported to be sluggish. On the other hand, the arrival of new crop seems weak in the markets. Recently, the market of fenugreek reduced by Rs 200 per quintal after the increment in the prices. Here, it’s prices remained firm at Rs 7600/7700 per quintal. Currently, the demand of fenugreek has been increasing in the pharmacy companies and the domestic markets, due to this, it’s prices may show increment. The rivals of new crop of fenugreek reported to be sluggish in the markets of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, the stock of fenugreek seems weak and its demand has been started increasing constantly. The production of fenugreek showed downfall and its domestic consumption seems high, due to this, the prices may increase. The further increment in the prices of fenugreek depends on the demand and export during the near future.
