New Delhi, 23 July (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom jumped to 92201 kg in the Sugandhiri Spices Promoters and Traders Private Limited Auction. The arrivals reported to be high, after this, the average auction price jumped to Rs 3211.84 per kg due to the heavy buying from the stockists. Before this, the arrivals reported to be around 79585 kg in the last auction which held 14th July and its average auction price at Rs 2794.43 per kg. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5mm rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3050 per kg because of the increased buying from the stockists and uptrend in the auction. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 50 per kg. The market sentiments may affect due to the affected crop and weak rainfall than the normal level. There is no possibility of downfall in the spot small cardamom prices during the coming days.
