New Delhi, 31 July (NNS): The offtake of poppy seeds reported to be sluggish after the downfall in the prices during the previous days, due to this, the prices of poppy seeds remained stable at Rs 1400 per kg. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 50 per kg. The import gets affected as the Strait of Hormuz has been controlled by the Iran. There is no possibility of downfall in the prices during the coming days.
