New Delhi, 6 August (NNS): there were around 50,000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur. The arrivals seems high as comparatively, whereas it’s buying slowed down, due to this reason, there, the prices of red Chilli declined by Rs 500/1500 per quintal. The new crop of red Chilli gets affected due to the shortage of rainfall. Here, the price of red Chilli 334 no. remained stable at Rs 24200 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying at the higher level. Before this, its prices rose by Rs 500 per quintal. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming one or two days.
