New Delhi, 13 August (NNS): There were around 8000/9000 bags of cumin were reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 20/5 per 20 kg. Here, cumin prices remained at Rs 22800 per quintal because of the sluggish trading activities. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contact prices slipped by Rs 95 or 0.46  to Rs 20405 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The prices gets support due to the limited buying from Bangladesh. The spot cumin prices will not likely to improve during the near future.
