New Delhi, 20 August (NNS): There were around 10000/11000 bags of cumin were reported to arrive in Unjha. The arrivals reported to be at the higher level, after this, the buying seems limited from the local stockists along with Bangladesh, due to this, here, the wholesale prices improved by Rs 10/20 per 20 kg. Here, cumin prices remained at Rs 22800 per quintal because of the sluggish buying. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contact prices gained by Rs 130 or 0.64 to Rs 20360 per quintal due to the increased speculative buying. There is no possibility of more downfall in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
