New Delhi, 25 August (NNS): The prices of red chilli 334 no. remained at Rs 24200 per quintal due to the sluggish sale even after the ongoing festivals season. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 40000/45000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect owing to the sluggish quality of the crop. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain weak during the coming one or two days.
