New Delhi, 05 July (NNS): Here, cumin prices ascended by Rs 1000 to Rs 67000 per quintal owing to the increased sale even after the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 1000/1500 per quintal. There are about 4000/5000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 150 per 20 kg. The active contract went up by Rs 1750 or 3.22 percent to Rs 55775 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may likely to increase during the coming days.
