New Delhi, 05 July (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis eased by Rs 100 to Rs 9700 per quintal owing to the weak offtake even after the lower level. During the preivous day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There are about 5300 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract slipped by Rs 204 or 2.07 percent to Rs 9664 per quintal owing to increased speculative selling. The spot turmeric prices may likely to remain sluggish during the previous day.
