New Delhi, 11 July (NNS): Here, the cumin prices went down by Rs 500 to Rs 67500 per quintal due to the weak offtake at the higher level. Recently, the prices have jumped by Rs 1000 per quintal. There are about 4000/5000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract dropped down by Rs 940 or 1.57 percent to 58800 owing to the weak speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may likely to remain in the limited area during the coming days.
