New Delhi, 13 July(NNS): The new crop of cloves has been started arriving from Indonesia and Madagascar this year, the crop has been reported to be weak, due to which, the market may show uptrend during the near future. There is a lack of old stock in the markets and the prices may increase any time after the increment in demand due to the higher prices in the international markets. This year, the arrival of the stock from Colombo seems sluggish because of its higher local consumption and the stock also been sold out to the bordering areas along with Myanmar, due to this reason, the market of Madagascar held strong at Rs.940/950 per kilogram. Apart from this, superior quality stock also being quoted at Rs.1000/1010 per kg.
