New Delhi, 21 July (NNS): Here, cumin prices rose by Rs 500 to Rs 68500 per quintal due to the increased sale even after the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 1000 per quintal during the previous day. There are about 3000/4000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went up by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract gained by Rs 790 or 1.30 percent to Rs 61700 per quintal because of the strong speculative selling, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
